Osceola RV Space Rental

Located in a small country residential area that’s surrounded by the Osceola Forest, this Private RV Space is an acre in size and butts up against the forest. It has water, sewer and electric available. Your rate includes water, sewer and garbage. You have your own private electric meter and pay separately for your electricity. There’s also a washer and dryer available for use at no charge that’s shared with the owners next door. Deer and wild turkey visit often. There's also a picnic table, firepit and a fish cleaning table. The ground is very level and there is an older cement pad. The Osceola Forest in filled with trails for hiking, birding, ATVing and such and there are many fishing holes close by. See my todo tab for even more info on the area.

Amenities & Accommodations

This space is right at an acre in size and is filled with huge old oak trees that drape with Spanish moss.. A corner lot, it butts up against the Osceola National Forest, so deer and wild turkey often wander in.  There’s also a shed on site that guests are welcome to use for bike storage and such. There’s also a washer and dryer in the garage next door that you are welcome to use at no charge.

Minimum Stay

A minimum stay of 30 nights required during standard rental dates.

Currency
All currencies are shown in USD.

  • All current fire regulations must be followed. 
  • No open fires. All fires must have screens over them. 
  • Pets are welcome, but must “go” in the woods, or be picked up after. 
  • All cigarette butts must go in butt holder.
  • A garbage can will be provided, but garbage bags must be provided by guest. 
  • No food in the garbage until the day of pickup (Tuesday) due to bear concerns. We freeze scraps and put them out that day.
  • Site must be kept clean so as to be a compliment to the neighborhood.
  • Grass are will be cut by the owner.

  • We have summer and winter rates. Summer is May 1 through September 30 and is $400 a month plus 11% tax. 
  • Winter rates, Oct 1 through April 30 is $525 per month plus tax. 
  • Minimum stay is 30 days. No Tax if staying 6 months or longer with 6-month reservation.
  • To hold a reservation, 30 days rent, plus tax is required.
  • There's also a $150 fully refundable damage deposit. See policy below for more info.
  • A recent photo must be received of your RV before your reservation will be accepted.
  • Payment Options: Cash, check (60 days in advance of arrival) bank transfer by phone, Pay Pal (at least 3 days in advance) and credit card are welcome. There is a 3% transaction fee for the credit card processing.

Availability & Booking

Osceola Estates is about 10 miles from downtown Lake City, 50 miles from Jacksonville, 40 miles from Gainesville, FL.  Olustee Battlefield, a popular re-enacted that’s held in February is about 20 minutes away. There are also several lakes close by.  Ocean Pond is over 3 miles wide and is popular for skiing, swimming and fishing.  Located in the Osceola Forest, East of Lake City, close to the Olustee Battlefield, 30 miles from Itcheetucknee River, the Santa Fe, and the Suwannee Rivers. Great for hiking, fishing and tubing the river. If you're wanting to go see the Jags play, it's about 50 miles away, the Gators are about 40, and we even have our own little speedway if you're into racing. Perhaps one of the most popular things to do here is ATVing.  ATV trails wander through the forest all around all the cabins. There's also many geocaches hidden nearby.
