ATV Info for Osceola National Forest

Many people have called regarding the ATV trails that are behind the cabin in the Osceola National Forest, so I've put together links that you can access that will hopefully answer your questions. Happy 4-Wheeling! Safety first, of course!

I don't know how it came to be, but somewhere in the past, someone manage to buy a circle area in the Osceola Forest. You have to drive through the forest to get to it, I have it marked below with the pink dots. You turn off of Gum Swamp onto Mt. Carrie Rd, and drive about a mile through the forest, then you have our subdivision, Osceola Estates. There's about 45 homes, most butting up against the forest. All along Mt. Carrie are forest service signs with the images of an ATV and rider, indicating those trails are good for 4-wheeling.

A note: I am actually on Eric Way, but Google has not updated their files since the 911 street name change, so they have it listed as Oak Leaf Way.

To get to the trails from our house, you cannot go out my back gates as it is too small (I plan to have it enlarged later). But drive out my front gate, which is on a dirt road, turn left, go to stop sign and then you can turn left or right and within a minute's drive be at a marked trail.

This whole area is absolutely beautiful.

Enjoy, but be sure to follow safety procedures and to check with the forest service regarding licenses and such.

Happy Trails! Sharon
